SHOW DESCRIPTION: Set in a modern-day college town, three friends and lovers negotiate the difficulties of independence, insecurity, and identity within the context of young LGBT struggles. Through their dynamic, changing relationships with each other and the world, our three characters lose and find their senses of self and family.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Maybelle Covington is a theatre artist who has focused most of the last ten years on acting and playwriting; this is her third show to be produced, and first at any International Fringe Festival. Covington's works cover a range of real-life and political matters, and usually focus on providing representation and diversity to the stage of discussion in theatre. Outside of her writing, Covington also performs as an actor, singer, and pianist as well as participating in a variety of technical theatre trades.
