ABOUT THE COMPANY: CAPITAL W is the joint venture of longtime collaborators Lauren Ludwig (Director/Writer) and Monica Miklas (Producer). After many years of collaborating in the music and sketch comedy group Lost Moon Radio, Lauren and Monica created Capital W in 2015 to explore their shared passion for unconventional, immersive, and site-specific theater. LA Weekly called the company’s first production, Hamlet-Mobile, “pure gold” (Bill Raden) and an “enthralling embodiment of ‘all the world’s a stage’” (Steven Leigh Morris). Capital W produced in Spring 2016 And the Drum, an immersive interpretation of a collection of poetry staged in the home of the poet.
