SHOW DESCRIPTION: While seeking shelter for the night, a mature middle class homeless woman discovers she is not alone in the quest to find connection and maintain her humanity.   

ABOUT THE COMPANY: Renée Westbrook earned a B.A. in Drama from San Diego State University where her one-act play, “Spider In A Dungeon”, was mounted as a student production in the Experimental Theatre.  Her current work, “Shelter”, received ten-minute readings at the Diversionary Theatre WordPlay Tuesday/San Diego Playwrights developmental workshop.  It also received a complete reading at Scripteasers San Diego Playwrights Development.  Westbrook is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and the Toni Morrison Society.  She is currently a graduate student in the MFA Creative Writing Fiction program at San Diego State University.
